I've been running the first step for about 1.5 hours and have 50K items indexed. I restarted indexing and after about 8 hours it had gotten to 178,207 items indexed and the "Indexing Options" dialog was just sitting there.
A couple of things I don't use (Visio) or don't care about getting indexed (One Note).
One is called “Private” and the other is called “Business”.
You can create a Search Folder which aggregates all the emails of the Private folder and all its subfolders into a single view.
The code is running without any error message showing up, but the task does not get updated.
I would prefer not to delete the task and create a similar one (I would lose the creation date).
